lyrics
outside my head i cast a shadow
im not someone whose seen this side of me
but it drifts accross the ground so down i look
and i could spend my time
wondering who i was
i could count the time that i had won or lost
i could turn toward you and ask you what you saw
but what do these feelings mean
come meet me on this path of wonder
take my hand id like to share with you
what can we learn when we cant understand
we could spend our time wondering what could be
we could ask of god to show us where we stand
you could follow me back to where we met
oh but what have you been dreaming of
im going to live
but im living far away
im going to die
im dying for a way out
Deep, interesting, strong and emotional. Just a great work. Liz Harris will always have something strong, special and surprising in the best artistic way. risovic
The songs on the latest from Jane Bruckner are soft and pillowy as clouds—instrumental compositions that are soothing & mysterious. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 27, 2023
Grid of Points is more brighter compared to its previous sister album Ruins, yet the album still feels very dark, possibly caused by Liz’s inhuman ability to make the calming sound disturbingly beautiful. Every moment on here, yes that’s including that ending to Breathing, makes me feel so emotional in different ways, but Driving specifically has such a punch to it like no other. alicedreadfuls
